School History

Building a Strong Foundation for Future Success!

Pronghorn Ridge Middle School opened in the fall of 2024 as part of Humboldt Unified School District’s effort to better serve our students and optimize the use of district facilities. The creation of Pronghorn Ridge Middle School allowed for the expansion of Bradshaw Mountain High School into the building previously used as a middle school, accommodating the growing high school population and enhancing academic opportunities.

The Pronghorn Ridge campus was originally built in 2003 and has served multiple purposes over the years. It operated as a ninth-grade campus for three school years and was also used to house various district offices and business operations. Now repurposed as a middle school, the facility is fully equipped to provide an engaging, supportive learning environment for students as they transition from elementary to high school.
